We take pride in our ethics and transparency – we offer a total care package for both our Dogs and our Clients, we care at every stage of Pre whelping, Whelping and Post Whelping care into an 1 to 8 week Puppies – their first 8 weeks raising our pups program and we have a total go-home support program. to ensure the best family pups, and older dogs. We like to imprint our puppies in a very subtle, gentle loving way – and we use Pack mentality and Alpha dog principles to raise our pups.
Our focus is on process, policy, and ethically bred dogs. We operate on a Local, National and International scale, and our support program is available through family partnerships.
We collaborate with our neighbors and the local community to meet the needs of Cocobo Kennels, raising dog proceeds to ensure ethical breeding practices.
While have pups at different times of the year we have a limited number of pups, once we have your email we can add you to our Next Puppies Due list. We sometimes have older dogs looking for a home at times.
- All our dogs undergo comprehensive DNA, screening by Orivet, to screen out genetic issues applicable to the breed, this saves you the heartache and vet bills in later years.
- We never inbred our dogs, which makes it very unlikely to develop genetic illness, we choose our mating very carefully to ensure the strongest healthiest pups.
Puppy Culture
What is Puppy Culture – and we take a little bit from different trusted programs to establish and add to our own program..
Five benefits have been observed in canines that were exposed to the Bio Sensor stimulation exercises. The benefits noted were:
- Improved cardio vascular performance
- Stronger heart beats
- Stronger adrenal glands
- More tolerance to stress
- Greater resistance to disease
In tests of learning, stimulated pups were found to be more active and more exploratory than their non- stimulated litter mates over which they were dominant in competitive situations. For Example – Secondary effects were also noted regarding test performance. In simple problem solving tests using detours in a maze, the non-stimulated pups became extremely aroused, whined a great deal, and made many errors. Their stimulated litter mates were less disturbed or upset by test conditions and when comparisons were made, the stimulated litter mates were more calm in the test environment, made fewer errors and gave only an occasional distress sound when stressed.
